CM13 Marshmallow for Redmi Note 3 Custom ROM

Hello Guys AS we know as CM13 for Redmi Note 3 is available right now and In this post I will show you how you can install Custom CM13 ROM on Redmi Note 3 phones. This ROM only for snapdragon processor, please do not try it on other model otherwise it can be brick your device like system files corrupt and bootloop. Read It before installing

Before Install any Custom ROM make sure the device has ROOT access and Custom TWRP recovery is already flashed on the device. If you are already flash TWRP on your device you are ready to go to the next step.

How to Install CM13 ROM on Redmi Note 3

First download ROM and GApps from end of post.
Copy both ROM and GApps on your device Internal/SD Card storage
Power Off your device
Reboot into recovery mode by pressing and hold Volume Down + Power button.
Once your device successfully reboots into TWRP Recovery
Now, Tap on Wipe > Advance Wipe, Select Wipe cache, Dalvik cache, System and Data option then Swipe to wipe.
Go back, Tap on Install and find the ROM zip file and flash it.
Once ROM successfully flashed, Similarly, flash GApps.
Once ROM successfully flashed, Go back and wipe cache & Dalvik cache again and Reboot your device.

How to Install Android x86 6.0 on PC with Dual Boot

Step 1. Download Android x86 ISO and Rufus boot maker from end of post.

Step 2. By Using Rufus, Make a bootable USB/CD/DVD using the ISO image file that you downloaded from below.

Step 3. After that, Restart your PC via USB/CD/DVD drive as the source.

(Make USB To Boot First And Before CD/DVD ROM Under Your System’s BIOS Settings)

Step 4. Now Android x86 menu Appear on your screen, Just select Install Android-x86 to harddisk.

Step 5. Choose Partition, Select your hard disk partition where you want to install it.

Step 6. Now, It will ask for installation for Grub Bootloader. Just select "YES".

Step 7. Now, another prompt message will ask you to make system /R/W. hit "YES" on this.

Step 8. After that, It will ask for install internal space. Use 2047 MB for space, As that is the maximum supported.

Step 9. Now, Restart your PC. You can select Android-x86 6.0-rc1 to boot Android and Choose Windows to start Windows on your PC.

Note : Choose the right version of Marshmallow Boot Animation. For Example if you have a screen of resolution 1280x720 pixels, you would choose the 720p version and The Zenfone 5 have 720 pixels and i am providing 720 pixel file that you can download from end of post.

How to Install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Zenfone 5

Step 1. First download Marshmallow Boot animation zip file and copy in your device internal storage.

Step 2. Install ES file Explorer on your device.

Step 3. Open ES Explorer then tap on upper left corner button and select Tools then Enable Root Explorer and it will prompt to Grant Super SU (Root Permission). Hit on Grant Button.

Hello Guys, In this post I will show you How to update Beta Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL. Recently another developer shared another Official Beta ROM and this is the first edition of ROM so maybe there you will find minor bugs. This method tested, But do it with your own risk.

Ingredients for Marshmallow

Before Serve the Marshmallow ROM

Before Installing the marshmallow to your Zenfone 2 must be running on 12.8.5.222 firmware. You can check your firmware version at Settings > About > Software Version.

How to Install ADB Driver on PC for Android

Download Driver from below link.
Extract setup on your desktop.
Connect your device to PC using a data cable.
Run ADB Setup on your PC.
On ADB set-up, Your device shows in the list.
Click on Install button.
On installation process, it can prompt for windows Security Dialog Box.
Click on Install this driver software anyway.
Once its done, It will be shown Installation success with highlighted green check mark.

How to Update Android 6.0.1 Zenfone 2

Download ADB Tool and install it on your PC.
Download Android 6.0.1 ROM from below link.
Once it downloaded on your PC, Extract ADB Tool on your desktop.
Copy ROM.zip file on your extracted adb tool folder.
Turn Off Zenfone 2 and reboot recovery by pressing the Power + Volume down button.
Connect your device to your PC using a data cable.
Open Windows CMD from ADB Tool folder by pressing and hold shift Key + Right click of mouse.
Type Below CMD and hit enter.
It can take more than 5 minutes to complete. Please wait and do not disconnect your device in this task.
Once its done, Reboot your device normally for first boot it can take more than 5 minutes.

Backup your Current Stock/ Custom Rom using TWRP Recovery Mode

Now Download Android 6.0 CRdroid for Galaxy Tab 2 (P3100), GApps and Keyboard Zip file from the end of the post. Dont Unzip these files after download

Then connect your Tab 2 with your PC using the USB cord and Once the connection established, transfer all files from the desktop and place it on your tablet’s SD card.

Turn off your Tab 2

Now Reboot into TWRP Recovery mode using Volume Up + Power key.

Just select "Wipe" and Check Dalvik Cache, System and Data. Once it Selected Swipe to Wipe.

Make a backup before flash

Before flashing any custom ROM on the device. Make a backup using TWRP Custom recovery. If you have already Custom Recovery Installed on your device. You can make a backup of the stock firmware. If you dont have custom recovery installed. Please use below tutorial to flash recovery.

Step to make a backup

Switch off Your Device
Open device in TWRP recovery mode by using the Power + Volume Down key.
Tap on Backup then Slide left to right on Swipe to backup button
Once the Backup Complete reboot device normally and Copy TWRP folder on your PC/Computer.

First Flash Custom TWRP Recovery

Before upgrading to marshmallow you have to flash Custom TWRP Recovery. If you have pre-install recovery you can skip this step otherwise use this tutorial to flash TWRP on your device.

How to Update Android 6.0.1 on Zenfone 5

Download Android M ROM, boot.img, Gapps and ADB Tool from end of post link given.
Copy GApps in your device SD-Card.
Extract ADB Tool and ROM.zip file on your desktop.
Once it extracted, you will get systemCM-13.0-20160401-EXPERIMENTAL.img file.
Copy systemCM-13.0-20160401-EXPERIMENTAL.img and bootCM-13.0-20160401.img file in the ADB Tool folder.
Now Turn Off your device.
Reboot into bootloder using Power + Volume UP button.
Once device in bootloder mode, Connect device with PC using data cable.
In the ADB Tool folder, Open Windows Commend by Pressing Shift key + right click of the mouse and select the open command here.
Type these cmd: fastboot flash boot bootCM-13.0-20160401.img and hit enter.
Then, fastboot flash system systemCM-13.0-20160401-EXPERIMENTAL.img and hit enter.
Now Clear device data Type: fastboot erase data (hit enter).
Then Type: fastboot erase userdata (hit enter).
Type: fastboot erase cache (hit enter).
Once it finished, Open device in recovery mode by type: adb reboot recovery.
Select install zip and browse the GApps zip file that you copied and flash it.
Once it flashed, you should format ( NOT WIPE ) and cache data in TWRP.
Restart the device and enjoy CM13 on your Zenfone.

Note: At the time the first boot may take up to 10 to 15 minutes, so be patient

How to fix boot loop or stuck at boot animation

Maybe your device goes to Boot Loop or stuck in CM13 boot animation, because my device already stuck at boot animation. Again I flash CM13 ROM using above method and it is starting working. So, if your device stuck in a CM boot animation, please reflash CM13 step by step. I hope it will work for you. Please drop your comment. If you like or find any think help full.

Install Android 6 0 Marshmallow OS on your PC using Virtualbox

Tutorial - How to Install Android 6.0 Marshmallow Operating System on your PC using Virtual Box/ VMware workstation. In previews post We talk about Install Android x86 6.0 Marshmallow on PC with Windows, Linux, MAC Dual Boot Supported.

Requirement

Android 6.0 x86 ISO (Download All files from End of post)
Virtual Box/ Vmware Workstation

How to Install Android 6.0 on your PC

Step 1. Download Android 6.0 x86 ISO and Virtual Box file from end of post link given.

Step 2. Install Virtual Box on PC

Once you downloaded the both file, run Virtual box and install it on your PC. When it asked to install a new network adapter Just select Install button. Once the installation is complete Run Virtual Box on your PC.

Step 3. Create A New Virtual Box

Now You needed to create a new virtual machine for installation of Android. Just Click on NEW button. Give a new name to the virtual machine whatever you want. In next step just select Type as Linux and Version As other Linux 32-Bit. Click on Next button Now Enter RAM size 512 (Recommended) or whatever you want. Again Click Next button then Create a virtual hard disk as VDI Virtualbox disk image then select Dynamically allocated and Enter size of disk image (Use 5 GB for disk space Recommended).

Step 4. Select ISO file on Virtual Box

Select virtual machine and Click the Settings button from upper left corner. Click the Storage option and then click the Empty entry in the Storage section. Now From the right, click the disc button and select Choose a virtual optical disk file option and Navigate to the Android 6.0 ISO file you have downloaded, select it and click Open then press OK button to save the settings.

Step 5. Install Android

Now its time to install Android on your Virtual Box.

Step 1. Click on START Button to start virtual machine.

Step 2. Select Installation - Install Android to hard disk option using your keyboard.

Step 3. Now you needed to create a fresh partition to install Android.

Just Select Create modify partition and hit on Enter button.
Select New from the bottom using Left/Right button from keyboard and press Enter.
Select Primary and press the Enter button.
Select the booltable option and press Enter.
Now select Write from the bottom and press Enter, and then type YES before press Enter.
Select Quit, and select the partition you’ve just created and press Enter.

Step 4. Now select ext3 and press Enter. Then select YES to format the partition.

Step 5. Now, It will ask for installation for Grub Bootloader. Just select YES.

Step 6. Now, another prompt message will ask you to make system directory as read and write. Select YES and press enter. It can not take more than 1 minute.

Step 7. Now it show Android-x86 is installed successfully. Now you needed to remove the virtual optical disk device (CD/DVD device).

Step 6. Remove CD/DVD Devices

From the upper left corner, Select Devices then Optical devices. Now Select Remove disk from virtual device.

Now Select Restart option. Just Select Android-x86 6.0-rc1 and press enter. It can take 5 to 10 minutes for first boot. Note : - If it showing

Step 7. Error Google Play services has stopped
You have to disconnect network connection from Virtual Box.

Go To Settings in Virtual Box.
Click on Network option.
Select Not Attached option from Attached to.

How to Install Android Nougat on PC

Download Rufus and Marshmallow ISO image from end of post link given in red color.
Once both files downloaded on your PC, Run Rufus Software
Connect USB Flash Drive to PC. Now Click CD-Drive logo button to select ISO file.
Now find and select the ISO file and click on the start button. And wait to finish it.
Now Power off your PC
Make USB To Boot First Before CD/DVD ROM Under Your System’s BIOS Settings or you can directly boot your PC using Pen Drive using F12 Key for Lenovo. If you dont know your boot key you can google it
Once you successfully boot using a pen drive Android x86 Menu appears on your screen
Just Select Install Android x86 to Hard Disk.
Select your appropriate hard disk partition to install Android x86 or you can install on any new partition.
Now, You will get a prompt message to the installation of GRUB Bootloader. Make sure to hit on yes.
Now, another prompt message will ask you to make system /r/w. Hit Yes on this.
After that, you will get another prompt to install internal space. Use 2047 MB of space, as that’s the maximum supported.
Now select Reboot. After Reboot You can use Android x86 on PC.

ROM Android 6 0 ZenFone 2 Marshmallow Firmware ZE551ML ZE550ML

Hello Guys, In this post I will tell you How to flash Full Firmware Marshmallow ASUS ZenFone 2 ZE551ML/ZE550ML. This is a beta version of Android Marshmallow. Before flashing this Firmware please make a full backup of your device data. You can also read my old post about How to Update Zenfone 2 Laser to Marshmallow ROM.

How to Update Manully ZenFone 2?

Open Settings > About Phone > System Update
Now Download the .zip file from the end of post link given
Now Copy and Paste this .zip file to device your Internal Storage using data cable
After Copy Unplug USB cable from your device and Update notice will be popping up on your zenfone screen
Just click on update notification
Done.
Or you can Update your device using SD Card
Just Copy and paste .zip to SD Card then open recovery by pressing the Power than Volume Down button and select apply updates from SD Card)

How to flash firmware ZenFone 2 ADB Method

Now Download ADB Fastboot tool and extract it on your PC desktop.
Copy Stock ROM zip file in extracting adb folder.
Now select recovery mode, then press the power button (if you dont know how to open recovery mode using droidboot mode, then Power off your device and Press and hold Power off button after vibrate suddenly press the Volume Down button. May be it show no command or show android image, Now Press and hold Volume down and Volume Up button again and again it will show you recovery menu.
Connect your device with PC using ASUS USB Data cable.
Now select apply updates from adb option
Now open the adb folder and press and hold the SHIFT key, then click Right Mouse Button and select the open command here.
Now Type below command and hit enter

adb sideload filenamee.zip

Wait until the process is complete
Once its done, Reboot your device
This method can be used to downgrade. But Do it with your own risk.

How to Update Zenfone 2 Laser to Marshmallow firmware Complete Guide

Hello Guys ASUS roll out Marshmallow official firmware for ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL. Here is a complete guide to server methods first is ADB and the second is an OTA update. An old post we talk about How to Root Zenfone Max step by step.

Before Update

Before you go to the next step please make sure backup your personal photos, Games, contract and other data. Because after update your internal storage decreases the size of storing it can fail to update or remove some files from your Android phone.

Make sure before update currently your device running on latest Lollipop firmware. Otherwise, it will be failed to update your device. You can also check out More Tutorials on ASUS Zenfones device

How to Update Zenfone 2 Laser to Marshmallow [Method 1]

Download the firmware and ADB Tool from end of post
Download and Install USB Drivers on your PC
Extract ADB Tool on your desktop
Copy Firmware.zip file in adb tool folder
Turn off your Zenfone 2 Laser
Go to recovery mode by pressing the Power + Volume down button, it will show android logo now press volume up + down and then release volume up (hold the volume down button until recovery) then select apply updates from ADB.
Now Connect your Zenfone to PC using a data cable
Open Command Window by press and hold CTRL Key of a keyboard, then right click from mouse select Open windows Commend here
Type below command in CMD Window and hit the enter button

adb sideload WW-21.40.1220.zip

Wait until the process is done and make sure you device not disconnected while this process
Once its done, it will be rebooted automatically.

How to Update Zenfone 2 Laser to Marshmallow [Method 2]

Disconnect device from the PC
System update notice will be appearing in the notification area of the zenfone

How To Update Galaxy Tab 2 7 0 P3100 To 6 0 Marshmallow

Tutorial - Samsung will not announce officially marshmallow update. There are a lot of XDA developers who make custom ROMs. With Custom ROM you can update Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3100 with CM13. CM13 based on Android 6.0.x. This is not official Update. So, before Installing ROM, you have to flash Custom recovery like TWRP/ CWM on the device.

CM13 Android 6.0 Short detail
CM13 smoother and faster in use. So, you can quick access any application and game. Multi Window mode worked awesome, You can enable the developer option from Settings > About > hit build number seven times to enable developer mode. And the last one is the battery. Battery backup is also good like Stock ROM.

Make a full Backup
Before Updating your Tab 2, Save important data like Message, WhatsApp Chat and Contacts data in a safe place and Create a backup of your stock ROM using Custom Recovery. With a backup you can revert back to preview stage.

If you have pre-installed Custom Recovery Installed. Just Turn off your device. Now Press Volume UP + Power Button to open Recovery. Once Recovery Open, Just select Backup and Create a backup file. Once, Backup process completes Reboot your Device and Copy CWM/TWRP folder from the device and paste it on your PC.

Hotspot Little Bug
When we are testing this ROM, We were noticing Wifi hotspot not working some times while using Wifi file transfer application like Shareit and SuperBeam.

Ambient Light Sensor not Working
On This ROM Ambient sensor not working. That means you can not use Auto Brightness feature. You have to manually adjust brightness according to your requirement.

Auto Rotate Limitation
Auto Rotate feature not working on Home Screen and App Drawer.

ROM Status on Testing
This ROM status under testing. So device will automatically reboot causing of out of memory.

CM13 features
In CM13 ROM have lots of features like Multi Window Mode, Wifi and Bluetooth Worked fine, CM13 pre rooted you can enable it from developer mode, Smooth and fast performance.

Battery Backup
Battery Performance is much better if we compare to Lollipop update. On Lollipop, battery can not run more than 10 -12 hours, but In Marshmallow Update battery can run more than 24 hours.

How to Update Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3100 To 6.0 Marshmallow

Download CM13 ROM. Zip, GApps and Keyboard Zip file from end of post. Dont Unzip these files after download.
Then connect your Tab 2 with your PC using the USB cord and Once the connection established, transfer all files from the desktop and place it on your tablet’s SD card.
Turn off your Tab 2, Now Reboot into TWRP Recovery mode by pressing Volume Up + Power key.
Just select "Wipe" and Check Dalvik Cache, System and Data. Once it Selected Swipe to Wipe.
Then Go back and select “Install”, Now find the ROM. Zip file and flash it.
Similarly, repeat the process and flash Google Apps package and Keyboard zip file.
Now Go back and select Wipe then select factory reset, Now Reboot your Tab 2.

Extract ODIN and Run on your PC
Turn Off your device and Boot device into Download Mode by press and hold "Vol Down + Home + Power" buttons
Once your device successfully enters into Download mode, Now Connect your device to USB Cable with PC
You will see an ID: COM port turned blue and Add message in the Odin that means your device has successfully connected with PC
Now add the firmware ‘.tar‘ file to the PDA tab in Odin.
Make sure that only these two options are tick “Auto Reboot” and “F.Reset Time“.
Now click on ‘Start‘ button and it will start flashing the file. Wait until you see ‘Pass‘ in Green Color on Odin screen.
