CyanogenMod 13 for Yu Yunique Android 6 0 Official Update


In this tutorial I will show you how to update CyanogenMod Android 6.0 CM13 on Yunique Phone. Recently CyanogenMod shared another ROM in Official status. In this Guide you can download the ROM and GApps from the end of the post. This method tested, but do it on your own risk.

Requirement
  • Android 6.0.1 ROM
  • GApps for Marshmallow
  • Battery charged at lest 50%
  • TWRP Recovery Pre Installed on your Android device
  • USB Drivers Pre-installed on your windows PC

Backup your stock ROM
Before installing this custom ROM on your Yunique Android device. Please make a stock ROM backup. If you did anything wrong you can revert your device in the preview stock ROM by using backup files.

How to backup stock ROM using TWRP Recovery

  1. Power Off your device
  2. Reboot into recovery
  3. Tap on Backup
  4. Check System, Data, Boot, Recovery and EFS.
  5. Once it is selected Swipe to start to backup process. This will backup your whole Android System (Application, Data and app data) but this will not make backups of your internal storage.
  6. Once its done, Reboot your device and Save TWRP backup folder on your PC.

    How to flash CM13 on Yunique

    1. Download ROM and GApps from end of post.
    2. Copy both files in your device internal storage.
    3. Power off your devices.
    4. Reboot into TWRP recovery (Press Volume Down and Power key at the same time).
    5. Tap on Wipe > Advance Wipe. Check Dalvik Cache, System, Data and Cache and swip to wipe.
    6. Go back, Tap on Install and flash ROM zip file on your device.
    7. Once its done, Similarly, flash the GApps.
    8. Once it Done, Reboot System.

    - Bootloader desbloqueado e custom recovery

    -- PROCEDIMENTO

    • CWM

      1. Coloque os arquivos na memória do aparelho
      2. Reinicie em bootloader, segurando as teclas volume para baixo + power ,em seguida selecione
        recovery.
      3. Selecione Wipe data, wipe cache e wipe dalvik , confirme
        todos para limpar o sistema.
      4. Selecione install zip>choose zip
        from/sdcard>o
      5. Selecione o arquivo zip , em seguida selecione YES.
      6. Repita os passos 4 e 5 para instalar os GAPPS Refaça apenas wipe
        cache e wipe dalvik
      7. Reinicie o aparelho.
    • TWRP

      1. Coloque os arquivos na memória do aparelho
      2. Reinicie em bootloader, segurando as teclas volume para baixo + power ,em seguida selecione recovery.
      3. Toque em WIPE, em seguida toque em ADVANCED,marque apenas DATA , CACHE, DALVIK, em seguida arraste onde diz SWIPE TO WIPE.
      4. Retorne ao menu principal.
      5. Toque em INSTALL
      6. Toque no arquivo zip
      7. Toque e arraste onde diz swipe to install zip
      8. Refaça os passos 5, 6, 7 para instalar os GAPPS.
      9. Refaça o WIPE CACHE E DALVIK.
      10. Toque em REBOOT SYSTEM

    OBS.: O primeiro boot pode demorar de 10 a 15 minutos.

    How to Install CyanogenMod 12.1 on ASUS Zenfone 4

    Step 1. Make sure your Zenfone 4 running on the latest firmware 7.3.3 .

    Step 2. Unlock Bootloader, Unlock tool can be download (Download from - http://bit.ly/1JHyhZg).
    Step 3. Extract Unlock bootloader tool > install apk> unlock

    Step 4. Download CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM from below Link (Download from below Link).

    Step 5. Download ADB tools if you dont have it (Download from below link ).

    Step 6. Download Intel usb driver if you dont have/install it (Download from - http://intel.ly/1JWOVrg).

    Step 7. Copy boot.img, system.img and recovery_TWRP.img place it to ADB folder.

    Step 8. Turn off Zenfone 4.

    Step 9. Enter Fastboot mode (Power + Volume up).

    Step 10. Connect Zenfone 4 to PC.

    Step 11. At ADB Folder press shift+right click > open Command here.

    Step 12. At command prompt type (press enter after each line and wait until finish) :
    • fastboot flash system system.img 
    • fastboot flash boot boot.img 
    • fastboot flash recovery recovery_TWRP.img

    Step 13. Factory Reset.

    Step 14. Done

    Welcome back to Techno Planners tutorials, In preview post we talk about CM13 ROM for Zenfone 5. Now, Today in this post we talk about CM13.1 Android 6.0.1 ROM for ASUS Zenfone 5/6. Unfortunately, This is not an official update from Cynogenmod and There are some bugs and error like video recording, FM Radio and auto lock screen problem. Currently, This ROM status on the experiment so, maybe there are more bugs and issue. If you detect any bug or problem with this ROM, please share it with us and our other visitors. Please do it with your own risk, I am not responsible for any damage.

    ASUS
    Maybe ASUS will not provide any Marshmallow update for older device because there are processor limitations. But you can taste Marshmallow Update on your Zenfone thanks to CyanogenMod who made this Custom ROM and share it with us.

    TWRP Recovery
    Before upgrading to marshmallow you have to flash Custom TWRP Recovery. If you have pre-install recovery you can skip this step otherwise use this tutorial to Install TWRP on your device.

    Backup
    Before flashing the ROM update make a backup using TWRP recovery.

    Guide to make a backup
    1. Power off Your Zenfone
    2. Open TWRP recovery mode by using the Power + Volume Down button.
    3. Tap on Backup then Slide left to right from Swipe to backup button
    4. Once the Backup Complete reboot device normally and Copy TWRP folder on your PC/Computer.

    How to install CM13.1 on Zenfone 5 [Method 1]

    1. Download System Image, Kernel Image, Gapps and ADB Tool from end of post link given.
    2. Copy GApps in your device SD-Card.
    3. Copy systemCM-13.1-20160419.img and bootCM-13.1-20160421.img file in the ADB Tool folder.
    4. Now Turn Off your device.
    5. Reboot into bootloder using Power + Volume UP button.
    6. Once device in bootloder mode, Connect device with PC using data cable.
    7. In the ADB Tool folder, Open Windows Commend by Pressing Shift key + right click of the mouse and select the open command here.
    8. Android 6.0 on Zenfone 5
    9. Type below cmd and hit enter.
    10. fastboot flash boot bootCM-13.0-20160401.img
    11. Type below CMD and hit enter.
    12. fastboot flash system systemCM-13.0-20160401-EXPERIMENTAL.img
    13. Now Clear device data Type below CMD one by one: (hit enter).
    14. fastboot erase data
      fastboot erase userdata
      fastboot erase cache
      adb reboot recovery
    15. From TWRP Recovery
    16. Select install zip and browse the GApps zip file that you copied and flash it.
    17. Once it flashed, you should format ( NOT WIPE ) and cache data in TWRP.
    18. Restart the device and enjoy CM13.1 on your Zenfone.

    Note: At the time the first boot may take up to 10 to 15 minutes, so be patient

    How to install Android 6.0 on Zenfone 5 [Method 2]

    1. Download Recovery-Flashable ZIPs ROM and GApps from end of the post.
    2. Copy ROM and GApps zip file in your device storage.
    3. Turn off your Zenfone
    4. Boot your device into Recovery mode using Power + Volume DOWN button.
    5. Tap Install and flash the ROM zip file.
    6. Go back and flash the GApps.
    7. Tap Wipe > Advance Wipe, Select dalvik cache, data, internal storage (optional).

    8. Once its done, Reboot your device.

    How to fix a boot loop

    Maybe your device goes to Boot Loop or stuck in CM13 boot animation, because my device already stuck at boot animation. Again, I flash CM13 ROM using above method and it is starting working.     How to Root

    1. Go to Settings > About Phone > tap build number 6 - 7 times
    2. Go back to settings page you will get developer option
    3. Root Enable device + ADB
    4. Update SuperSU from Play Store

    Step 1. First time flashing CyanogenMod 12.1 on your device, or coming from another ROM.

    Step 2. Download the zip(s) from below Link.

    Step 3. Install a compatible Recovery

    Step 4. Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)

    Step 5. Wipe data & cache partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).

    Step 6. Flash CyanogenMod.

    Step 7. Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.

    Hello Guys, Today in this post we talk about How to Update ASUS Zenfone 5 in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow ROM. This is not official update and this is a custom ROM from CM13.     ASUS will not provide official Marshmallow firmware
    Maybe ASUS will not provide any Marshmallow update for our zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6 because there are lots of hardware limitations and company policy. But now you can taste Marshmallow sweet on your device thanks to CyanogenMod who made this Custom ROM and share it with us.

    Pre-Requirement

      Make a backup before flash
      Before flashing any custom ROM on the device. Make a backup using TWRP Custom recovery. If you have already Custom Recovery Installed on your device. You can make a backup of the stock firmware. If you dont have custom recovery installed. Please use below tutorial to flash recovery.

      Step to make a backup
      1. Switch off Your Device
      2. Open device in TWRP recovery mode by using the Power + Volume Down key.
      3. Tap on Backup then Slide left to right on Swipe to backup button
      4. Once the Backup Complete reboot device normally and Copy TWRP folder on your PC/Computer.

      First Flash Custom TWRP Recovery

      Before upgrading to marshmallow you have to flash Custom TWRP Recovery. If you have pre-install recovery you can skip this step otherwise use this tutorial to flash TWRP on your device.

      How to Update Android 6.0.1 on Zenfone 5

      1. Download Android M ROM, boot.img, Gapps and ADB Tool from end of post link given.
      2. Copy GApps in your device SD-Card.
      3. Extract ADB Tool and ROM.zip file on your desktop.
      4. Once it extracted, you will get systemCM-13.0-20160401-EXPERIMENTAL.img file.
      5. Copy systemCM-13.0-20160401-EXPERIMENTAL.img and bootCM-13.0-20160401.img file in the ADB Tool folder.
        Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on Zenfone 5 T00J/T00F
      6. Now Turn Off your device.
      7. Reboot into bootloder using Power + Volume UP button.
      8. Once device in bootloder mode, Connect device with PC using data cable.
      9. In the ADB Tool folder, Open Windows Commend by Pressing Shift key + right click of the mouse and select the open command here.
        Android 6.0 on Zenfone 5
      10. Type these cmd:  fastboot flash boot bootCM-13.0-20160401.img and hit enter.
        Zenfone 5 T00J/T00F
      11. Then, fastboot flash system systemCM-13.0-20160401-EXPERIMENTAL.img and hit enter.
      12. Now Clear device data Type: fastboot erase data (hit enter).
      13. Then Type: fastboot erase userdata (hit enter).
      14. Type: fastboot erase cache (hit enter).
      15. Once it finished, Open device in recovery mode by type: adb reboot recovery.
      16. Select install zip and browse the GApps zip file that you copied and flash it.
      17. Once it flashed, you should format ( NOT WIPE ) and cache data in TWRP.
      18. Restart the device and enjoy CM13 on your Zenfone.

      Step 2. Download CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM: (Download from Below Links)
      • System.img
      • Boot.img
      • Sdcard fix boot.img

      Step 3. Copy all to ADB Folder (Download from Below Link)

      Step 4. Turn off device

      Step 5. Go to fastboot by pressing Power + Volume Up.

      Step 6. At ADB Folder open cmd by pressing Shift + Right Click > Open command here.

      Step 8. Then flash system image by typing: fastboot flash system system.img

      Step 9. Then flash SD-Card image by typing fastboot flash boot fixSdcard-boot.img

      Step 10. Now Factory reset your device

      Done, First boot can be take more than 5 minutes. You can Enable root access by Go to Settings  > About Phone  > Tap build number seven times then go to developer options then select Root Enable Device + ADB. Now You have to install SuperSU from Play Store. If it dont work you can also check out How to Root Asus Zenfone.

      Para ativar a Depuração USB você deve habilitar as opções de desenvolvedor que por padrão estão oculta.

      Vá para Configurações -> Sobre o Telefone -> clique em "Número da versão" ou "Build Number" seis vezes em sequencia.
