ZenMotion Zenfone 5 Add double tap to wake sleep mod T00J T00F
We already share this tutorial in preview post but some user unable to add zen-motion features. This is updated ASUS Zenfone Tutorial about How to Install ZenMotion on Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6. This method works with lollipop firmware and tested with 3.23.40.52 and 3.24.40.78 Firmware. Do it with own risk I am not responsible for any damage. Recently we share CyanogenMod 13.1 Android 6.0 Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6.
Whats ZenMotion
This feature comes with most advance mobile phones like Zenfone Zoom or Zenfone 2. With this you can suspend your screen by double tap on the screen and this method also work for Wake Up your screen.
Download ADB driver pack from end of post. Now connect your device and Run ADB drive on your pc and click on Install button. Wait it to finished it. Once it done, Go to next Step.

Download ADB driver pack from end of post. Now connect your device and Run ADB drive on your pc and click on Install button. Wait it to finished it. Once it done, Go to next Step.
Rooted You Device
Before Add Double Tap to Wake/ Sleep feature on your device. First You have to root your device. From Zen-Motion-Tool folder Click on Root Zenfone .bat file and wait it to finished it.Zenfone
How to Install ZenMotion
- Enable USB debugging mode on your device from Settings > about > Build number. Hit 7 times on build number to enable developer mode. Once it shows developers mode enabled. Now Go back to settings > Developers Options > Check USB Debugging mode.
- Connect Zenfone with PC using data cable.
- Open ZenMotion folder, then again open ZenMotion folder, then open permission folder now copy both file and paste in your device internal storage.
- Now Double Click on Install ZenMotion bat file.
- SuperSU Prompt Appear on your zenfone and click Grant.
- Now It will ask for Press any key to continue hit any key and Wait until done.
- After Complete, Go To Settings > ZenMotion > First disable it then Enable it.
Fix Touch Screen on Zenfone
After Reboot, if you touch screen not work. Turn off your device and reboot in droidboot mode using Volume Up + Power Button. Once your device opens in droidboot. By using Volume and power button, select Reboot options. Now your touch screen work properly. If this method does not work for you. Hey Guys, Recently another developer shared another Nougat ROM for ASUS Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6. This is more stable and unofficial version of Android 7.0.1 Nougat from minhtri109 and it is based on CM14. This builds create on latest Google Android 7.0.1 source code with Linux 3.10.x kernel. Below you can read working features and bugs. This Resurrection Remix ROM tested with Zenfone 5 T00J/T00F but do it with your own risk and I am not responsible for any damage. If you think there is a bug in this ROM you can check out the Lineage OS on Zenfone 5.

How to flash Resurrection Remix Nougat Zenfone

- Download Pico Gapps for Nougat from here and Choose x86 -> Android 7.0 -> Pico.
- Now, From your PC copy ROM and GApps zip files and paste it in your zenfone internal storage using data cable/ or using wireless application for example: Share-it/ Super Beam.
- Unplug your device from PC and Turn off it.
- Reboot into recovery mode by using the Power + Volume Down button.
- Select Wipe > Advance Wipe > check the data, dalvik cache, catch, system and swipe to wipe it.
- Tap Install and find the ROM zip file and flash it
- Similarly, flash GApps on your device.
- After flashing, you should format old files from in the TWRP.
- Go back and select Wipe > Advance Wipe > check the data, dalvik cache, data, internal storage (optional).
- Now, finally Reboot your device.

Hey Guys, Recently another developer shared another Marshmallow ROM for ASUS Zenfone 5. This is stable and official version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow from tank0412 and it is based on CM13. This builds create on latest Google Android 6.0.1 source code with Linux 3.10.x kernel. Below you can read working features and bugs. Hello Guys, In this post I will tell you How to flash Full Firmware V2.22.40.53 ASUS Zenfone 5 T00F/T00J. If your device going to bootloop that means your device cannot start or its show ASUS logo and shut down and reboot again and again or it is showing boot animation continuously. That means you have to fix a bootloop issue on your zenfone. Use this tutorial for fix bootloop on Zenfone 5.
How to Update Manully Zenfone 5?
Requirement
Install Drivers on your PC
Now you will get New Firmware on your Asus Zenfone 5. You can also check out How to flash Nougat Firmare on Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6.
How to Update Manully Zenfone 5?
- Open Settings > About Phone > System Update
- Now Download the .zip file from the end of post link given
- Now Copy and Paste this .zip file to device your Internal Storage using data cable
- After Copy Unplug USB cable from your device and Update notice will be popping up on your zenfone screen
- Just click on update notification
- Done.
- Or you can Update your device using SD Card
- Just Copy and paste .zip to SD Card then open recovery by pressing the Power than Volume Down button and select apply updates from SD Card)

Install Drivers on your PC
- Download Intel driver from end of the post. Once it downloaded on your PC, Install it on your PC like normal software.
- Install ADB Driver
- Download ADB Drivers from end of the post.
- Connect your zenfone in recovery mode
- Run ADB Driver, and Click on Install button
- Done
How to flash firmware Zenfone 5 ADB Method
- Now Download ADB Fastboot tool and extract it on your PC desktop.
- Copy Stock ROM zip file in extracting adb folder.
- Now select recovery mode, then press the power button (if you dont know how to open recovery mode using droidboot mode, then Power off your device and Press and hold Power off button after vibrate suddenly press the Volume Down button. May be it show no command or show android image, Now Press and hold Volume down and Volume Up button again and again it will show you recovery menu.
- Connect your device with PC using ASUS USB Data cable.
- Now select apply updates from adb option
- Now open the adb folder and press and hold the SHIFT key, then click Right Mouse Button and select the open command here.

- Now Type below command and hit enter
- Wait until the process is complete
- Once its done, Reboot your device
- This method can be used to downgrade. But Do it with your own risk.

In the previous post we talk about How to Install BIG_ROM on ASUS Zenfone 5. Now Today, Techno Planners is sharing Shell ROM v5.2 Lollipop for ASUS Zenfone 5 T00J/T00F. This is Stock ROM based on stock Lollipop firmware 3.23.40.87 but customize with lots of features like ZenMotion, Volume Increase, etc., by the ShesnonRibeiro XDA developer. Do it with your own risk, We are not responsible for any damage.
Requirements files for Installation
Make a full backup
Before Updating the Zenfone, Save important files, Contacts, and other data in a safe partition and make a backup of your stock ROM using Custom Recovery. Just Turn off your device. Now Press Power + Volume Down Button to open device in Recovery mode. Once Recovery mode Open, Just select Backup and make a backup. Once, Backup process completes Reboot your Device and Copy TWRP folder from the device and paste it on your PC/ External SD-Card. With a backup you can go back to preview stage.

For first boot, Device can freeze on Google Boot animation for 5 - 10 minutes to make the cache file. Once it done, You can enjoy shell ROM on Zenfone 5 without any problem.

TWRP recovery is the most popular custom recovery on the Android platform. Before flash any Custom ROM on your device. You needed to install TWRP recovery on your phone. How to flash Shell ROM on Zenfone 5
- Reboot your device in recovery mode (By pressing the Power + Volume Down button).
- Once recovery open, Tap on Wipe > Advance Wipe.
- Now mark the Dalvik Cache, Cache and Data option from the list and Swipe to Wipe.
- Go back and select Install, Now find the ROM file from the internal storage and flash it. Wait until its finished.
- Once it shows Successfully Install/Complete, Go back and Select wipe, Go to Advanced Wipe and select "Dalvik Cache and Cache" and do wipe.
- Once its done, Reboot your device.

Tutorial - How to flash custom lollipop kernel on Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6. With Custom Kernel you can improve your battery life and device performance on any ASUS Zenfone device. This kernel will work on stock Lollipop firmware 3.23.40.52, 3.23.40.60, 3.24.40.78 or 3.24.40.87. This method tested with 3.24.40.78 WW firmware. And do not try this kernel with Kitkat firmware. Note:- This tutorial will void your warranty and Do it with own risk. I am not responsible for any kind of the damage.
Step 3. Open CMD Windows from ADB tool folder. By using hold Shift + Right Mouse button and select open windows command here.
Step 4. Power off your device and Reboot it in droidboot mode using Power + Volume Up button.
Step 5. Once droidboot open, Connect your device with PC using data cable.
Step 6. Now Write below cmd in commend window and hit enter.
Step 7. Once it shown done, Reboot your device.
Congratulation, Now you have a custom kernel for your device. You can check your device CPU cores working or not using the CPU Status. Attention! May be a little incompatible with 1 Gb RAM versions and Xposed. Random reboots due to long phone calls with enabled DT2W still have NOT fixed yet. Step 1, Download ADB Tool
First, you have to download ADB tool from end of post and extract it on your desktop using WinRAR Tool.Step 2. Download Custom Kernel
Now, download custom kernel and place image file in extracting adb tool folder.Step 3. Open CMD Windows from ADB tool folder. By using hold Shift + Right Mouse button and select open windows command here.
Step 4. Power off your device and Reboot it in droidboot mode using Power + Volume Up button.
Step 5. Once droidboot open, Connect your device with PC using data cable.
Step 6. Now Write below cmd in commend window and hit enter.
