HOW DO YOU THINK SNAPCHAT MAKES ITS MILLIONS
Snapchat boasts a user base exceeding 150 million daily users as well almost a $17 billion valuation. On the grounds of these statistics, it is fair to say Snapchat has more worth (on paper) than a number of famous public tech companies which could even include Twitter.

Snapchat has a strategy of displaying ads to users in a number of vital places inside the app.

Stories: This runs across Live Stories — just like the montages curated by Snapchat around big sporting events like the Olympics — and the one we are enjoying now is users’ stories. Filters and lenses: In this earning medium, Snapchat makes sales of sponsored filters for particular events (if you remember Recode had recorded the purchase of one for the purpose of its annual Code Conference in 2016).
Snapchat equally sells sponsored lenses, these are the notorious face-distorting features which gives users the ability to transform into a dog or even a zombie at worst.
On the down side, one major challenge Snapchat is struggling to overturn is that it has not been excellent at measuring how well these ads are doing for its advertisers. Of course, this is one big problem. Any dude running expenses to advertise inside your app, will seriously want to have a measurement of the performance of their ads. So Snapchat is not really doing well at measuring that at present. It was only of late that Snapchat is trying to initiate partnerships with third-party measurement companies to relieve Snapchat of this distress.
So this is how Snapchat is making its millions!

Yes, as the title indicates! WhatsApp is secretly creating something for Web related to its client!
We all know the reversing the WhatsApp for Android is very hard due to the complex obfuscation applied to the code. But hey! We are reverse engineers and we still like to break into the code.
The reverse engineered strings in the WhatsApp client shows new keys such as "web", "w:web", "wsync", "wResponse" and many many more. These are all symptoms that WhatsApp is preparing something for Web, used via web browsers. The nature of the new implementation is still not clear for us and it needs more investigation.
I will not talk much about the subject since Im still in the earliest stages. Guess what.. I didnt rely just on the keys to make sure that there is something being prepared this method "sendWebMessages()" is also an additional evidence!
I will consider this post as a starting point to start the research about this topic. Ill keep you updated if any news (time is tight).

Just some two months back in May, Opera had launched an unlimited VPN app for iOS; all coming at no cost. And now, Opera is extending this equally to all Android devices.
The name for this jolly Android philanthropy is Opera Free VPN. There is difference between this and the other VPN app called Opera Max. The Opera Free VPN doesn’t in anyway compress the traffic of the user or anything like that. It is just one standard VPN app, but this time coming with an awoof intonation being free with unlimited traffic.
As said, this VPN protection really needs no subscription. Though this time, it comes with a number of tweaks. To start with, it presents a Wi-Fi test tool that will inform you the extent of security of the wireless network you are presently connected. So when it gets an A, all is rocking fine. It gets pretty bad when the rating turns an F, well, then it is best you waste no time further quickly jumping off it at once – or better still resort to Opera’s VPN.
This runs check on “whether the Wi-Fi network is public or private, if it’s encrypted, how many other devices share the same connection, if the IP address and the location are exposed, and if others can monitor or sniff your device details”, going by the explanation from Opera.
In addition to the first tweak, the Guardian feature will bring in the capacity to block ad trackers from “stalking you online” while you are on a connection to the Opera VPN.
According to the default operation, the app makes a connection between you and whichever of virtual locations (like US, Netherlands etc.) is closer to your real location, but you then you still have the option of choosing another if you so desire.
