Burnout paradise is unfortunately advertised as having a lan multiplayer mode. it even says so on the box! ea say there's no problem in telling customers that's the case but until you open the box you won't know that "lan multiplayer" actually means each player on the lan needs a separate internet connection and the "host" player needs to set. Well the developers wanted to have the game played at a constant 60 fps whilst in full hd and it just wasn't possible. so about a year later they released the party pack which is their offline multiplayer..
